On March 31, 2020, the provisions of the Act of March 31, 2020 on amending the Act on Special Solutions Related to Preventing, Counteracting and Combating COVID-19, Other Infectious Diseases and Emergency Situations Caused by them and Some Other Acts (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 568) entered into force. This Act, commonly referred to as the “Anti-Crisis Shield,” introduces new obligations and powers on the part of public procurement contractors, resulting from the impact of COVID-19 emergence circumstances on the due performance of the public procurement contract.
