CCM AND DLA PIPER REPORT – THE OUTBREAK OF WAR IN UKRAINE AND THE INCREASED COSTS OF CONSTRUCTION INVESTMENTS IN POLAND

It is with great satisfaction that we present to you a comprehensive study on the issue of the increase in the costs of construction investments in Poland as a result of the escalation of the armed conflict in Ukraine entitled: “REPORT – The outbreak of war in Ukraine and the increase in the costs of construction investments in Poland“.

The authors of the Report are the DLA Piper law firm and the consulting and engineering company CCM Sp. z o. o.

The report includes all data on the state of the economy, including the construction sector, at the end of February 2023 (including in particular GUS indicators published in March this year – CPI and construction and assembly production for February 2023). The presented material also contains all the most important data on changes in the prices of key raw materials and materials used in construction for the period from February 24, 2022 to February 24, 2023.

The data presented in the report therefore refer to a full 12-month period from the beginning of the armed conflict in Ukraine, which had a huge impact on the prices on the market and the terms of execution of construction contracts in Poland.
